Memofi, Inc. and its affiliates’ (Memofi,” “we,” “us,” and “our”) goal is to help people to study and achieve their learning goal effectively. This Privacy Policy will help you understand how we collect, use and disclose your personal information and assist you in exercising the privacy rights available to you. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed by us, including on our website and in our mobile applications, and our application program interfaces we use to provide the service for you. Memfi does not receive or store your full payment details, but may receive limited related information (e.g., payment status, last four digits of your card, country).
Communication Information. We collect your contact details and marketing preferences (e.g., email, phone, mailing address) when you request information, subscribe to our newsletter, or otherwise contact us.
Customer Content. We collect content you create or upload to the Services. This may include personal information, such as names used in your designs or your voice if you use any Figma voice features.
Usage Data. We collect data about access, use, and performance of the Services (e.g., technical logs, metadata, Technical Data, and when Customer Content was accessed). Usage Data does not include the content itself but may include personal information, such as details about your interactions with other users.
Customer Service Information. When you contact support, we collect the information you provide and may record calls or video conferences with our representatives for training and quality assurance.
Student Account Information. For Memofi for Education, we may collect basic school and curriculum details (e.g., school name, mailing address, website) and proof of registration.
Sweepstakes, Contests, Surveys, and Events. When you participate in sweepstakes, contests, surveys, or other events we host or sponsor, we may collect your name, email, mailing address, demographic details, and other event-specific information.
Automatic data collection. When you use the Services, we automatically collect information such as your IP address, cookie and advertising identifiers, browser/OS/device details, and approximate location.
Cookies and similar technologies. We and our partners use cookies, local storage, and similar tools to collect information and to provide content, ads, and features. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Right to request correction of your information. You may ask us to make any necessary changes to ensure that the data we hold about you is accurate and kept up to date.
Right to request the erasure of your information. In certain circumstances, you may also ask us to erase personal data relating to you. In limited circumstances, it may be necessary to retain your Personal Information to comply with legal requirements even if a deletion request is made.
Restriction and Withdraw. Request restriction of or object to our processing of your personal information or withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal information.
Opt-out of marketing communications. You can opt out of our marketing at any time. Opting out will not affect transactional or service messages (for example, receipts, account, security, or service-related notices).
Email: Click the “Unsubscribe” or “Manage preferences” link in any marketing email, or adjust your communications preferences in your account settings. You may also email us at help@memofi.ai with your request. Please allow up to 10 business days to process.
Push notifications: Turn off marketing push notifications in the in-app settings.
DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our Services and fulfill the purposes in this Privacy Policy, including resolving disputes, establishing legal defenses, conducting audits, pursuing legitimate business interests, enforcing agreements, and complying with laws. Retention periods vary based on the type of data, why it was collected, and applicable legal requirements. When we no longer have a legitimate business need or legal reason to process your information, we delete or anonymize it. If deletion isn’t feasible (for example, data in backups), we securely store and isolate it until deletion is possible. You may request deletion at any time as described in “Your Privacy Rights,” but this requires closing your account, as we need certain personal information to maintain it.
How We Secure Your Personal Information
Your privacy matters to us. Memofi uses reasonable, industry-standard safeguards to protect your personal information during transmission and storage, and to prevent unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction. However, the internet is not completely secure; for example, accessing public networks, such as public Wi-Fi, is not 100% secure. Children’s Information
The Services are not directed to children under 13. If you learn that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, you may contact us at help@memofi.ai. If you disagree with these changes, you may delete your account at any time and/or stop using the Services.
